Viola Philipanics

Viola (Lightman) Philipanics, 97, wife of the late Michael Philipanics of Mont Clare, PA passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Born in Phoenixville, PA on November 9, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Kurovsky) Lightman.
Viola worked as a hairdresser from her home and was a member of Parkside United Church of Christ and the Phoenixville Senior Center.
She is survived by two grandchildren:  Melissa wife of Gerald Albright, Jr, and Thomas husband of Christine MacDougal; four great grandchildren:  Tyler husband of Veronika Albright, River Albright, Hunter wife of Kevin Nyce, and Thomas Joseph "TJ" MacDougal; and brother Joseph Lightman.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Philipanics, Jr.
A viewing will be held at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 9:00 to 10:00 am.  Attendance will be limited  to 10 persons in the funeral home at a time.
A Private Service will be held in Parkside United Church of Christ with  Rev. Dr. F. Russell Mitman officiating.  Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Mont Clare, PA
