Samuel Heller

March 14, 1958 — February 4, 2021

Samuel C. Heller, III, 62, husband of the late Corinne E. (Devine) Heller of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Seasons Hospice.

Born on March 14, 1958 in Norristown, PA he was the son of Moira (Thompson) Heller and the late James C. Heller.

He was a graduate of Methacton High School.

He worked for Superior Tube in Collegeville, PA for almost 45 years and was the local union President for United Steelworkers for 30 years.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Sam loved Notre Dame and Eagles football teams. He had a passion for racing, whether it was dirt track or slot car racing, listening to live music, and always looked forward to family vacations at the beach.  He loved being a Poppop and playing with his grandsons.

He is survived by 3 children:
Colleen Heller-Stein wife of David Stein;
Samuel C. Heller, IV;
Cristin Cain.

3 Grandchildren, Grayson and Ellis Stein, and Samuel L. Heller.

Brothers and sisters, Kathleen Roth, James Heller, Shirley Grumbine, and Janet Light.

Many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister, Peggy Pettia and brother, Bruce Heller.

Friends and family may call at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

Funeral Service and burial will be private.
