James Laws, Sr.

James M. Laws, Sr., 62, husband of Lois Vannessa (Wingo) Laws of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Seasons Hospice surrounded by his family.

Born on June 4, 1958 in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late Frank Harrison and Frances (Hatcher) Laws.

James worked at Comcast as a manager for many years.

James kept a pristine fleet of vehicles, each one special to him. Everybody that knew James knew he liked to look good. He loved to coordinate his entire outfit down to the socks. Spending time with his family was the thing that James loved the most. In the summer months he loved cooking for his family on the outside grill or just watching tv and movies and having good conversations.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 children:

James Laws, Jr. husband of Dana Laws,

Reall Edwards-Laws,

Kirsten Ball and

Brenden Wingo-Laws.

2 Grandchildren, Aidan and Nicholas and his "Grand-Doodles" Brody and Penny.

Brothers and sisters, Frances Laws, Gary Laws, Danny Laws, Timothy Harrison and Lee Lowery and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Waverly Hatcher and Dennis Laws.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at Devlin, Rosmos, Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home. 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.  Memorial services will be private due to coronavirus restrictions.
