Bernice L. Saunders, 64, of Boalsburg, PA died on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born on May 6, 1955 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Esther (Martin) Saunders.

She attended Phoenixville High School and worked at Pennhurst Hospital for many years. Her life was dedicated to being a care giver for the young and the elderly.

She was an avid Bingo player and bargain hunter and never missed an opportunity to show her love with a home-cooked meal.

She is survived by two daughters:
Edie wife of Ted Szczypiorski of Aldan, PA,
Jayme Johnson of Boalsburg, four grandchildren, Ethan, Isaac, Aaron, and Karter.

Brothers and sisters, Leonard White, DeNeal Saunders, Sylvia Jones, Lisa Jones, Rhoda Wheatley, and twin sister, Beatrice Rechier.

She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Donald White, Emlin White, Marilyn White, Louise White, Esther Bond Lowe, Lillian Thomas, Vera White, and Evelyn Townsend.

A viewing will be held in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, March 23, 2020 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm.

Followed by a Graveside Service at 1:30 in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
