From an early age, she enjoyed summers at Coxton Lake in Thompson, PA with many family members and friends. She also enjoyed spending time on the lake rowing; catching catfish for her father, as well as perch and bull frogs; and picking pails of blueberries with her father and making pies and jam with her mother.
