Albert Benyo

Albert S. Benyo, Sr., 87, husband of Betty Jane (Merkel) Benyo of Boyertown, PA passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Born on February 12, 1933 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Stephen and Stella (Kazmierczak) Benyo. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Benyo, sisters Josephine Brango and Bernadine Marchionne, son Michael Benyo, and grandson Jason Benyo.

He worked as a machinist for Bethlehem Steel and was a member of the St. Columbkill’s Church in Boyertown, PA. He enjoyed hunting, golf and trips to the casinos in his younger years, and was an avid sports fan enjoying the Eagles and Phillies.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Vicki Sowieralski, sons, Albert Benyo, Jr. and Jeffrey Benyo, grand-daughter, Hayley Bitner, grandson Jacob Benyo, and great grand-daughters Freya and Hazel Benyo.
