William I. "Billy" Kelly

October 3, 1965 — February 4, 2019

William I. "Billy" Kelly, 53, husband of Patty M. (Crossan) Kelly of Phoenixville, PA, died on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Lankenau Hospital.

Born on October 3, 1965 in Bala Cynwyd, PA, he was the son of Helen T. (Touey) Kelly of Bala Cynwyd, PA, and the late Rev. Mr. Gerald F. Kelly.

He graduated from Lower Merion High School.

He worked for Union Fire Company in Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County Sheriffs Department, Spring City Police Department, East Pikeland Police Department, and Allied Universal Security at the Vanguard Campus.

Billy was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 11, Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company, and West End Fire Company.

He was a co-organizer for the annual Poker Run at Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company and was an avid Eagles fan and a season ticket holder.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by 4 brothers and 3 sisters:

Gerald F. Kelly, Jr. and wife Margaret;

Thomas Kelly and wife Sheri;

Edward Kelly and wife Linda;

Margaret Kelly;

Suzanne O'Brien;

Emily Flynn and husband Richard;

Paul Kelly and wife Susan.

Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 12:00 noon.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

A Funeral Mass in St. Matthias Catholic Church and burial will be announced at a later date..

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company, 630 Valley Park Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
