Walter William Ruppe

Walter William Ruppe, 80, husband of Patricia A. (Kassel) Ruppe of Phoenixville, PA died in his home on Monday, December 24, 2018.

He was born in Audubon, PA on February 4, 1938 to the late Walter O. and Dorothy (Henning) Ruppe.

Walter served in the United States Marine Corps and then worked for Schmidt's Brewery in Norristown. He retired from the Maintenace Department at Brym Mawr Rehab.

He volunteered at St. Ann's School by helping out wherever help was needed. He also loved animals and was a member of the Humane Society.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three children: Donna Ruppe Gomes wife of John Gomes, Joseph William Ruppe, and Patricia Ruppe Hennessey; 8 grandchildren: Ashley Elizabeth, Regina Marie, Melissa Brianna, Caroline Marie, Maura Katherine, Joseph Augustine, Isabelle Marie, and Marissa Ann; 3 great grandchildren: Jackson, Cooper, and Alaina; and a sister Trudy Kolb.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Gary Pacitti officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
