Russell P. Conway, 79, of Spring City, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at home.
Born on November 11, 1946 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Frank "Al" and Margaret J. (Hojecki) Conway.
He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, Class of 1964, Russell built a successful career as the owner of a flooring and tile company. His talents and passions flourished beyond his profession, where he achieved remarkable feats in sports, including two perfect bowling games and numerous hole-in-one awards from the Eastern Amputee Golfing Association. Notably, he held the distinction of being the last survivor of the "run out" scene in the iconic Blob movie.
He was a member of the Polish Club.
He leaves behind his loving sisters, Carole McKelvey and Linda Conway, and cherished nieces Kelly Conway, Dawn Christman, Karen Holahan, Colleen Waltman, and nephew Tim Koren. Russell was predeceased by his brother, Edward Conway.
A visitation will be in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to Main Line Animal Rescue, 1149 Pike Springs Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425.
