Roy A. Hunsicker, Jr., 78, beloved husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Roy shared 34 wonderful years of marriage with his adored wife, Lois (Yednock)Hunsicker. He was a loving and dedicated father to his four daughters: Janice Ingram (Gary, deceased), Lori Howell (Michael), Paula Errington (Scott, Sr.), and Alyson Hepler (Robert).
He was a proud grandfather to Jacklyn Christ (Dylan), Haley Bozzelli (John), Paul Ingram, Michael Howell (Jenna), Marcus Howell (Hannah), Scott Errington Jr. (Heather), Tyler Errington (Ashley), Brandon Altieri, Lauren Keim (Zachary), and Grace Hepler, and a loving great-grandfather to thirteen beautiful great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who brought him great joy.
Born and raised in Norristown, PA, Roy was the son of the late Roy A. Hunsicker, Sr. and Esther (Litka) Hunsicker. He graduated from Norristown High School, Class of 1965, and later made his home in Linfield, PA, where he lived for the past 16 years.
Roy is survived by two sisters, Marilyn Montgomery (Frank, deceased) and Barbara Jeffries (Herbert). He was preceded in death by half-brothers Donald Burger (Evelyn) and T. Glenn Burger (Diane).
Roy will be remembered for his calm presence, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty as a friend.
