Rosemary Griffith

Rosemary (Chermack) Griffith of Phoenixville, PA, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. She was the Beloved wife of John "Jack" Griffith, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Frances Chermack. Rosemary attended St. Mary's School in Phoenixville, and was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School. She worked at Pennhurst Hospital as a Medical Secretary until its closing, and then at Norristown State Hospital where she retired. She was a Parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Phoenixville, PA. She was fond of German Shepherd dogs, and also fond of her cats. Surviving in addition to her husband are a sister, Patricia Winham of Phoenixville, PA, brother, Robert "Bob" Chermack and wife Lisa of Pottstown, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. A viewing will be held in the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 10:15 am.
