Rosemarie Zach

February 20, 1941 — August 25, 2017

Rosemarie (Szymanski) Zach, 76, wife of the late Robert "Buzz" Zach, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Friday, August 25, 2017 in Paoli Hospital from complications of a massive stroke.

Born and raised in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Rose (Fuga) Szymanski.

She worked for JC Penny catalog located in the Thrift Drug/Rite Aid store in Phoenixville for 35 years before retiring. She then worked part time at Eckerd/Rite Aid. Rosemarie did volunteer work at the Phoenixville Hospital as a greeter,and at the hospital gift shop for many years.

She traveled the world extensively and visited many marvelous cities and sites while on vacations. However, she worked and loved living in Phoenixville her entire life.

Every morning she loved going to the YMCA for swimming and aerobics. She was a member of the Phoenixville Historical Society and could often be seen at the Phoenixville Senior Center. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Phoenixville VFW, West End Fire Company, and Friendship Fire Company.

She was a lifelong member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Phoenixville.

daughter, Sharon wife of David Jones of Boca Raton, FL,
daughter, Lynn wife of Kevin Lahr of Spring City, PA,

4 grandchildren,
Brianna, Mallory and Natalie of Boca Raton, Fl,
and Keith Jacoby of Phoenixville, PA,

brother, Ronald husband of Linda Szymanski of Turnersville, NJ,

nephews,
John Szymanski of Turnersville, NJ,
Robert Szymanski of Turnersville, NJ,

and many cousins.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 am.

A viewing will be held in church on Thursday morning from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.

Burial will be private in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Phoenixville Senior Center, 153 Church Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
