Ronald M. Smith, 79, husband of the late Mary Ann (Rittenbaugh) Smith, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Phoenixville, PA, on August 22, 1937, he was the son of the late William, Sr., and Mary Agnes (O'Brien) Smith.
Ronald was a graduate of Phoenixville High School.
He served in the United States Army.
He worked as a Pipe Fitter for the former Phoenix Steel Corporation for many years. After his retirement he worked part time at Meadow Brook Golf Course.
He loved going to the casino, watching sports, reading, word puzzles and playing golf. He also loved his dog, Ollie.

Judie wife of Nicholas Fusco of Phoenixville, PA,
Steve Santangelo husband of Kathy of Gilbertsville, PA,
Diane wife of James Bilinski, Sr. of Phoenixville, PA,
10 step-grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Smith and brother, William Smith, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
