Robert J. Wilt

Robert J. Wilt, 93, husband of the late Phyllis J. (Blatt) Wilt of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Southeastern Veterans Center.

Born on August 17, 1930 he was the son of the late Paul E. Wilt, Jr. and Lulu M. (Jacobs) Wilt.

He served in the United States Navy on the USS Kearsarge.

He was a Chief Inspector of metallurgy for Handy and Harmon in Norristown, PA.

He was a lifelong member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and F. & A.M. Phoenix Lodge # 75 for over 50 years.

He loved to travel, fish, and hunt.

He is survived by 6 children:
Dianne Marie wife of Paul Fisher;
Robert J. Wilt, Jr. husband of Marilyn Wilt;
Shirley Ann wife of Robert Fitzcharles;
Beverly Jean wife of James Martin;
Roger LeRoy Wilt;
Joseph William Wilt.

13 Grandchildren.

22 Great-grandchildren.

6 Great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Charlene Mae Wilt, grandson, Michael Fisher, and daughter-in-laws, Dawn Wilt and Patricia Wilt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Masonic Service followed by Memorial Service in Otterbein United Methodist Church, 181 Walnut Street, Mont Clare, PA on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:30 pm.

Burial will be private.

A visitation will be in the church on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Otterbein Methodist Church, 181 Walnut Street, Mont Clare, PA 19453.
