Robert M. Quay, 99, husband of Mildred I. (Woodling) Quay, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA.
Born in Chester Springs, PA, he was the son of the late George Madison and Florence (Miles) Quay.
Robert served as a Corporal in the United States Army Air Force during World War II.
He was the oldest member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Chester Springs, PA.
Surviving are daughter,
daughter, Barbara A. Murdoch of Phoenixville, PA,
daughter, Sandee Banson of Crossville, TN,
4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Russell Quay, Samuel Quay, Effie Beyer, Jennie Hamilton, Olive Baxter and Betty Ballentine.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service in St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery, 1193 Clover Mill Road, Chester Springs, PA, on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 am.
