Robert S. "Bob" Nagy, 78, husband of Marilyn (Hedrick) Nagy, of Collegeville, PA, died on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA.
Born on May 25, 1939 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Bartha) Nagy.
Bob was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, Class of 1958.
He worked for many years as a Drywall Contractor until his retirement.
He was a member of Parkside United Church of Christ in Phoenixville, where he was a member of many committees. A life member of Valley Forge Fire Company, life member of Liberty Fire Company in Spring City, and a current member of Pike Township Sportsman Association.
He enjoyed working in his garage and being a handyman, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are,
son, Bob Nagy, Jr. and wife Kristen of Boyertown, PA,
son, Richard Nagy of Collegeville, PA,
grandson, Michael Nagy of Collegeville, PA,
He was preceded in death by brothers, Frank Nagy, Jr. and Donald Nagy, sister, Sandy Coots wife of Luther Coots.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parkside United Church of Christ, 505 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
