Robert Marchozzi

Robert Edward Marchozzi, Sr. 74, husband of Kathryn (Woloszanski) Marchozzi of Norristown, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Norristown, PA, where he lived his entire life, son of the late Louis and Florence (Distel) Marchozzi. Robert attended Bishop Kendrick High School. He worked for 20 years at B. F. Goodrich, and then at Container Corporation and Lansdale Warehouse. He loved coaching and umpiring for the Methacton Little League when his sons were in school. He also enjoyed being with his friends at the Turf Club in Oaks. Surviving in addition to his wife of 52 years are: son, Robert Marchozzi, Jr. and wife Susan, son, Mark Marchozzi, loving grandfather of Tyler, Taylor, Brooke and Alexis, they were the joy of his life, sister, Jenny wife of the late Buddy Labella, brother, Angelo Marchozzi and wife Judy, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Emedio, Joseph and Louis Marchozzi. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, Bridge and Starr Streets, Phoenixville, PA, on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Mont Clare, PA. A viewing will be held on Saturday morning in church from 8:30 am to 10:00 am.
