Robert A. Dell

Robert A. Dell, 84, of Kimberton, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at his home in King of Prussia, PA. 

Born on December 5, 1939 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and LaRue (Sellers) Dell. 

Bob worked for Roberts Meat Packing in Kimberton, PA and for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Collegeville, PA. He was a graduate of Phoenixville Area High School class of 1957. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army, member of the Spring City American Legion Post 602 and served as Honor Guard. 

Bob loved to laugh, was quick with a joke and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to travel, sing, read, play cards and do puzzles. He was an avid sports fan and never missed an Eagles, Phillies or Flyers game. He was very proud of his son and daughter attending St. John’s University and a huge supporter of their basketball and shooting teams. 

Bob is survived by his son Robert, daughter Charlene, son in law Gregory and sisters Bonnie Strickland and Trudy Mahan. He was the beloved Poppy to his grand pups Homer, Iker, Beeley Pippin, Clancy and Izzy. He is preceded in death by his brother Charles Dell.

Heartfelt thanks to the loving care providers Tamayra, Zach, Josiah, Pat and Stephanie who took such excellent care of our dad. We will be forever grateful for your love, support and compassion. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home located at 517 S. Main St. Phoenixville, PA on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:30 am. Burial will be private.  

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
