Richard S. Gyuris, Sr.

Richard Gyuris Sr., 89, husband of the late Kathleen M. (Larkin) Gyuris of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Born February 2, 1936 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Casmay) Gyuris.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

Richard worked in the home building trades for many years. Richard and his wife Kathleen also volunteered tirelessly in the Phoenixville Youth Sports programs. He was well known for his signature cigar and enjoyed helping others in need. He will be missed.

He is survived by his four sons, Richard Gyuris Jr., Michael Gyuris, Dave Gyuris and Stephen Scott Gyuris. Richard was also a grandfather and great-grandfather to many loving family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at 11 am.

Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on July 1, 2025 from 9:30am to 11:00 am.
