Richard Theodore Ewing, 75, of Spring City, PA, loving husband of Diane C. Ewing, passed in peace from natural causes on Friday evening, March 20, 2020 in the Phoenixville Seasons Hospice.
Rich worked at Danco Precision for 39 years and was an expert in do-it-yourself projects. In 1971, he built the home which he and Diane have since lived. He was a lifetime member of the Liberty Fire Company and, because he was so personable with a unique sense of humor, everyone knew Rich. He was a very caring and giving man and enjoyed time with his family and friends at their Bowers Beach home. He had a passion for fishing and beer and was always tinkering around with a project or riding his golf cart. Though known for making his infamous clam chowder, he also possessed a meticulous skill in woodworking.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane, daughters DeAnna “Sissy”, Debbie, and Barbie, his grandchildren: Trey, Taylor, Tyler, Charles, Joy, and Crystal, and his brother George Ewing in Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents George Elwood and Marion (Reppert) Ewing, his daughter, Dena Michelle Ewing, and his brother, Ronald Ewing.
May he rest in peace.
