Renate Flynn

August 22, 1953 — August 19, 2021

Renate Fern (Raser) Flynn, age 67, of Fairview Village, PA, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Thursday, August 19, 2021.

Born in Phoenixville, PA in 1953, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Geneva (Dean) Raser.

Renate graduated from Spring Ford High School, Class of 1971.  She earned her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Montgomery County Community College.
She retired from General Electric where she worked in various positions throughout her career with the company.  After retiring from GE, she returned to the nursing field and worked for many years as a homecare nurse.

Renate is survived by her daughter, Tania Schultz; her beloved grandson, Kyle Schultz; son in law, Perry Schultz; two nieces, Dannah Addalli and Denise Biglin; and nephew,  Jarrett Harris.

Renate was preceded in death by her sister, Shari (Raser) Harris.

A lover of the sun, Renate enjoyed the beach and being poolside.  She was a SCUBA diver for many years.  She enjoyed visiting friends, dining out, aerobics and was an avid shopper.  More than anything, Renate “DABBA” loved spending time with her grandson Kyle.

A private graveside service will be held at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oaks for immediate family.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be strictly enforced.
