Peter J. McNamara

Peter J. McNamara, 87, husband of Carole A. (Shaft) McNamara of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024.

Born on June 29, 1936 he was the son of the late John and Anne (O'Brien) McNamara.

Peter graduated from West Catholic High School.  He was proud to have served in the Marines.  Pete was a Banker for 20 years at Continental Bank and then an Auto Dealer at McNamara Subaru in Pottstown and then Limerick.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 9 children, Dennis (Debra), Paul, Kevin, Lynn Cotellese, Donna Dowdy (William), Tim (Jacqueline), Brian (Christine), Peter, and Sean (Mary Beth).

13 Grandchildren.

2 Great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2330 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:00 am with Rev. John Stokely officiating.

Burial will follow in Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, Bally, PA.

Friends may call at the church on  Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
