Naomi C. (Miller) Minarcik, age 97, of East Vincent Township, PA passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, at Phoebe Berks in Wernersville, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony W. Minarcik.
Born on July 18, 1928, in Millvale, PA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Clyde and Coletta (Kress) Miller. Naomi dedicated a significant part of her life to her work as a secretary to the assistant principal at Phoenixville High School. She was a member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church in Kimberton and the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Phoenixville, where she belonged to the Women’s Guild. Naomi was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and contributed her time to the East Vincent Township Parks and Recreation Board, where she served as secretary for many years and volunteered as a poll worker during elections. Naomi was a lover of history and a lifelong learner. Alongside her brother, Norm, she was a passionate genealogical researcher in her spare time. Together, they traced and documented the history of both the Miller and Kress families.
Naomi leaves behind a loving family that includes her children: Larry husband of Jenny Minarcik, Naomi wife of Wally Raub, and June wife of Michael Bodnar. She was a proud grandmother to Dan Minarcik, Kelli Raub, Matthew husband of Emily Bodnar, Melissa Bodnar, Kerri Raub and Jake, Allison wife of Matt Dunn, and Nicole wife of Xander Mendoza, as well as a great-grandmother to Bailey. She is also survived by her sister, Eileen wife of Jim DiPerna, along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her son, William Minarcik, and her siblings: Clyde Miller, Glenn Miller, Norman Miller, and Joanne Loch.
A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at St. Stanislaus/St. Anthony Cemetery, 700 Soose Road, Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Naomi's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
