Michael Francis Labik, Jr.

Michael F. Labik, Jr., age 72, passed away July 5, 2024 after a sudden illness. He was the son of the late Michael F. Labik and Eleanore (Spack) Labik. Born in Phoenixville, PA he attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Phoenixville Area High School, where he graduated in 1970. He excelled in all sports, especially Little League and Babe Ruth League baseball. 

A football scholarship sent him to Shippensburg University, but he found he was best suited to become a commercial roofer, where he worked, for over 30 years, and settled in Baltimore, MD. He loved travel, photography, and history and had a charismatic personality.

He is survived by his sister Kathleen (Labik) Tarlecki wife of Alfred Tarlecki of Royersford, brother John D., husband of Susan Labik of Elverson, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins, who will miss him too.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
