Michael A. Kachmar, 88, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 at home.

Born on June 5, 1937 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Michael J. and Mary V. (Paster) Kachmar.

He served in the United States Army and the National Guard.

He worked as upholsterer for Aristocrat Upholstery in Bridgeport.

He was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church.

Michael is survived by 3 children:

Michele Decker and husband Richard of Cypress, CA;

Michael Kachmar and wife Gina of Colorado Springs, CO;

Merijane Kachmar and David Butler, Jr. of Riverside, CA.

7 Grandchildren: Kyle Decker, Richard Decker IV, Amber Windram, Amanda Villegas, Joseph Kachmar, Ashley Butler, and David Butler, III.

12 Great-grandchildren.

1 Great-great granddaughter.

Longtime companion Sandy Stillman.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Kachmar and sister, Mary Kachmar.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 10:30 to 11:00 am.
