May Piekarski

May Piekarski, 85, wife of the late Joseph Piekarski passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

She was born on July 13, 1938 to the late Ustin and Sophia (Kacewich) Haiduck. May was 1 of 13 children. 

Raised in Philadelphia where she met the love of her life Joseph and went on to have three daughters. The Late Susan McHugh (late William Mchugh), Alice Piekarski (Late Anthony Rowan), Mary Jane Piekarski (Michael Bauer).

May worked at Container Corporation in Oaks where she retired to fulfill her passion in taking care of others. May loved to travel and thoroughly enjoyed her time at the casinos. Being down the Jersey shore was her favorite pass time she liked watching the sunsets and collecting shells.

She cherished her pets and enjoyed bird watching and gardening. May was a very skilled crafter and expert seamstress she could make any type of blanket or clothing you wanted.

Above all May loved spending time with her grandchildren Billy McHugh husband of Lindsey McHugh, Tiffany McHugh, Candace Swindle wife of Dr. Nicholas Swindle, Dylan Rowan husband of Kelley Rowan, Adina Nelson wife of late James Nelson, JT Rowan (Kieley Rubendall). 

 May also got to enjoy time with her great grandchildren Catori, Lakota, Roman Nelson. Olivia and Everly Rowan. Addison Rowan. Isabelle and Lillian Swindle. 

Services will be private. 

The family has requested to follow Mays art of kind heartedness and do something to make someone smile today, as everyone deserves a little grace.
