Mary Ann (Forster) Brown, 84, the wife of Raymond Brown, Sr. of Phoenixville, PA passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home.
Born on July 10, 1937 in Phoenixville, PA she was a daughter of the late Leo W. Forster & Caroline Rose (Quigley) Forster.
Mary Ann was employed for many years with Superior Tube Company, Collegeville and also the Johnson Matthey Company. She and her husband were members of St. Ann Catholic Church for over 65 years. She was active in the church's HOPE Ministry.
Outside of work and her church, Mary Ann enjoyed reading and writing, especially to her many pen pals throughout the world. She currently had a list of 37 pen pals still in touch with her. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, needle work, and traveling with Ray in their earlier years.
Surviving Mary Ann, in addition to her husband Ray, are her children, Raymond Brown, Jr. and wife Jean, Theresa Miller and husband Timothy, Linda Somers and husband Bryan; 7 grandchildren, Alex and wife Brandi, Andreas and wife Becca, Matthew, Tyler, Ryan, Eric and wife Kayla, Nicholas; 5 great grandchildren, Aubree, Alexis, Adia, Isla, Aspen; her sisters, Carolyn Becker, Paula Wurts; and her brother, Tony Forster.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Leoa Shoap and Kay Mastrangelo
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 Main St., Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
A visitation will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday morning from 9:15 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
