Mary Rose Roadcap

Mary Rose (Natale) Roadcap, 94, wife of the late Walter B. "Mike" Roadcap, Jr. of Royersford, PA passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. 

Born on February 27, 1930 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Angeline (DeAgostine) Natale. She is survived by her two children, son Dale, husband of Nieves Gruneiro-Roadcap and daughter, Carol D’Abbene. Along with two granddaughters, Lisa and Maria D’Abbeneand a great granddaughter (of Lisa), Peyton Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dominic, Paul, James and Joseph Natale and sisters, Philomena Lineberg, Rose Rogers and Loretta Natale. 

Mary was a homemaker and a talented seamstress, cook, baker and gardener. For over 30 years she took care of all the domestic cleaning services at the former Byrne Mansion when it was Phoenixville Orthopedic Association. In her youth, she was an active parishioner at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church in Phoenixville and guided many Catholic retreats. As an adult, Mary, was a devoted member and volunteer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Royersford, PA. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Phoenixville on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 10:00 am. A viewing will be held in church prior to Mass on Wednesday from 8:45 to 9:45 am. The Burial will follow the Mass at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
