Mary Potuznik Capobianchi

Mary (Heller) Potuznik Capobianchi, 76, wife of Felix Capobianchi of Valley Forge, PA and the late James J. Potuznik, passed away suddenly on Friday evening, November 9, 2018 at home.
Born on May 10, 1942 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late James and Marybeth (Ryan) Heller. She was a graduate of Barat College in Lake Forest, IL. On December 28, 1963, she married the late James J. Potuznik. Together they had 4 children; Patti Moscirella, wife of Steve of Oaks, PA and their children, Marybeth, Kati, and Nicole. Jeff Potuznik and his wife Amy of Oaks, PA. Greg Potuznik and his wife Jennifer of Phoenixville and their children, JP, and Christopher. Meg Kyle and her husband Jim of Oaks, PA and their children, Ashleigh, and Courtney. After James' passing, Mary met and married Felix Capobianchi on July 17, 1993. This union brought her 16 stepchildren, 24 step grandchildren, and 17 step great grandchildren with whom she enjoyed spending the last 25 years.
She was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church, Wayne, PA.
Mary enjoyed being "Mimi" to her 7 grandchildren. She loved entertaining and was well known throughout the country for her Christmas cookies. She will be missed for her bigger than life personality and incredibly generous and strong character. She was a blessing to all who knew her and was the light of her family and friends. She has left a big hole in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 50 West Walker Road, Wayne, PA on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:00am. with Rev. Stephen A. Moerman officiating. Burial will be privately held at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
A visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 8am to 9:45am in the church.
