Mary Dippolito

November 30, 1940 — April 7, 2016

Mary Grace (Dellaquila) Dippolito Mary Grace (Dellaquila) Dippolito - 75 of Pottstown, PA, died on Thursday, April 7, 2016 surrounded by family at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville after a valiant twenty year battle with Meningioma. Born in Phoenixville she was the daughter of the late Andrew (Andy) and Bruna Marie (Brunetta) Dellaquila. She grew up in a large extended family and was lucky to call her cousins her friends. She was a graduate of Saint Mary of the Assumption School, Phoenixville High School, and Ursinus College. She married moved away, divorced and moved back home where she raised her children with the love and support of her large extended family. She is survived by daughter Andrea (Dippolito) Merone, and grandson Alexander Merone of Pottstown. Her son, Michaelangelo Dippolito, his wife Kwitoslawa (Flo), granddaughter Kateryna Dippolito, grandsons Gary, Jr. and Stefan Chlapaty, and great-grand daughter Olivia of Chester Springs, and her daughter Desirae (Dippolito) Murray, her husband John, and grandsons Julian, Luka, Jude, and Jonah of Chalfont. She is also survived by her brother Nicola Dellaquila and his wife Kathleen and family of Phoenixville, and her sister-in-law Genevieve who was married to her late brother Peter and family of Spring City. She worked hard to support her children, and for many years worked multiple jobs to do so. She aspired to be a business owner as her great-grandparents, her parents, and aunts and uncles before her. She became a Public Accountant and owned her own practice for over twenty five years. She was devastated when her illness forced her to retire. She strived to live her life independently, with purpose and dignity. Her illness made that difficult for her to do. On her behalf, her children would like to thank all of those people who worked so tirelessly to help her do that; our extended family members, and her friends, her caregivers, cheerleaders, and guardian angels; Leona Faye Zupko, Margaret Karkoska, Donna Hirst, and Bernice Trice, the staff, and her friends at Sanatoga Center, and the caring and devoted staff at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460, on April 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM Entombment will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories.
