Mary Berry

September 25, 1924 — December 30, 2021

Mary Roselian (Heebner) Berry, 97, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2021.

Born in Cedars, PA on September 25, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Kulpa) Slavick.  She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers, and survived by one brother, Carl (Norma) Slavick of Midwest City, OK and many nieces and nephews.

She was a very loving and caring wife to Howard C. Heebner Sr (d. 1978) and mother to Mary I. Barnaik of Phoenixville, PA, Isabella M. Lombardi of Phoenixville, PA, Howard C. Heebner Jr. of Pottstown, PA and Linda J. Marks-Martin of Spring City, PA. She was also truly blessed with nine grandchildren. Dan (Mary-Ellen) Marks,  Brian (Amy) Marks, Tim (Tracy) Heebner, Nathan (Megan) Heebner, Robert (Trish) Gordon, Dawnette (John) Sheplock, Stephen Jr., Bridgette (Steve) Lightcap, Shanon Ian (Sandy) Barnaik, and thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She also had the pleasure of being part of a very kindhearted stepfamily as wife to John J. P. Berry Sr. (d. 2006) and stepmother of the late John (Sara) Berry, the late Philip (Diane) Berry, Donald (Donna) Berry and Douglas (Jane) Berry.

She worked at Collegeville Flag and Mfg. Co. in Collegeville, PA for many years until retirement.  She was then able to spend time outdoors taking care of her beautiful flowers and tending to her garden. When not outside she would be crocheting, reading, baking and watching Westerns, Matlock and Columbo on T.V.

Prior to being a resident at Park House, Royersford, PA she lived with her daughter in Spring City, PA where she enjoyed spending time getting together with her loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Masks are required.
