Marie (Wadsworth) (McDaniel) Stahl, 90, wife of the late Carl Stahl of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Born on April 14, 1935 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late Walter Wadsworth, Sr. and Teresa (Brandel) Wadsworth.

She was a graduate of Phoenixville High School.

She married Cary McDaniel of Royersford, PA in 1955.

Marie devoted many years working in the deli departments of A & P and Foresta’s Market.

She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Doe Club at the Pottstown Elks Club, and Perky Lassies at St. Paul's Church.

She enjoyed many years of bowling at Phoenix Lanes and staying active at Final Results Fitness in Gilbertsville, PA.

Her hobbies included flower gardening, making crafts, crossword and word puzzles, reading, taking photographs, and traveling.

Animals warmed her heart and she loved watching tv shows about animals such as The Incredible Dr. Pol. She once owned a duck!

Marie was always thinking of others and liked surprising friends with small gifts or treats. Never bored because there’s always clothes, shoes, purses and jewelry to shop for!

She cherished spending time with her family on holidays and summer picnics. She cared deeply for all of her friends and treasured each and every one.

She loved the beach and particularly enjoyed spending time at her other “home sweet home” in Lewes, Delaware.

She is survived by her children:

Daughter, Sharon White and husband Dennis.

Son, Cary McDaniel, Jr. and wife Mary McDaniel.

5 Grandchildren, Michael husband of Amy, Missy White, Andrew White and Beth Ann, Cary McDaniel, III and Allison, and April McDaniel.

7 Great-grandchildren, Owen, Brody, Rylin, Michael, Tommy, Kaitlyn, and Aidan.

2 Step-children, Keith Stahl husband of Debbie

2 Step-grandchildren, Justin Stahl and Jill Renwick wife of Gavin.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Wadsworth and former husband Cary McDaniel.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service in St. Paul's Episcopal Church,126 Black Rock Road, Oaks, PA 19456 on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 10:30 am.

Burial will be private.

A viewing will be held in the church hall on Wednesday from 9:15 to 10:15 am.

In honor of Marie’s love of flowers feel free to wear spring colors instead of the traditional black if you so desire.
