• Margaret Ruth Karasek, 83, wife of Donald T. Karasek of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 at home.

Born on September 21, 1942 in Barnesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Henry M. and Violet May (Clawson) Funk.

Margaret dedicated her professional life to Vishay Inter Technology Inc. in Malvern, PA. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  

Margaret embraced her roles within her family, delighting in the joys of being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Her love for cooking brought her family together, creating treasured memories around the dining table.

• In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 daughters:
• Tracy Parker;
  Donna Karasek;
  Melissa Karasek, wife of Jeffrey Fineman.

• 3 Grandchildren, William Parker, Marilynne Violet Parker, and Tyler Fineman.

• Sister, Carol Dunchack, and brother-in-law, Bill Dunchack.
• 
  
• She was preceded in death by sisters, Grace Crago, Helen Griffith, Louise Clawson, and Arvilla Fenton; and brothers George, Donald, John Ward, Walter, Charles, Henry, Norman, and Jim Funk and Harold Clawson.
