Kathleen F. Ferko

Kathleen F. Ferko, 73 years old, wife of Thomas J. Ferko of Royersford, PA, died Saturday, December 2, 2023 at home.  She was born on November 29, 1950 in Reading, PA, daughter of late Francis and Regina Augustine.  She was a member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in Phoenixville, PA.  She had a passion for art and gardening throughout her life.  She was a member of the Anvil Art Studio in Birdsboro, PA where she practiced watercolor technique, and took part in numerous art shows throughout her time there.  Kathleen put in over 40 years of service to the nursing industry for pediatric care, starting at Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown, PA and retiring from Dekalb Pediatrics in Collegeville, PA.  Surviving her are husband Thomas J. Ferko of Royersford, and son Ryan T. Ferko of Pittsburgh, PA.  She was preceded in death by her sister Judy Augustine.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at Holy Ghost Orthodox Church at Bridge & Starr Streets, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, December 7, 2023.  Visitation will be from 9:00am to 10:00am, with Divine Liturgy and the Funeral Service beginning at 10:00am with Protopresbyter Fr. Peter Paproski officiating.  Burial will follow the service in the Holy Ghost Cemetery, Mont Clare, PA.  Contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, P.O.
