Joseph Niemczuk, Jr., age 72, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Born on January 11, 1954, in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, he was the beloved husband of Peggy (Morgan) Niemczuk, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Joe was the son of Olive (Cheetham) Niemczuk and attended Phoenixville High School. He dedicated many years working at the Phoenix Steel Corporation until its closing and later pursued a career as a self-employed carpenter before retiring eight years ago. Known for his love of the outdoors, Joe was an avid fisherman, trapper, hunter, boater, and archer. He also enjoyed shooting pool and participated in various pool leagues. He was also a member of American-Italian Bocce Club in Royersford.

He is survived by his children, TJ Niemczuk and Robin, wife of Taft Pettiford; and his sisters, Anne, wife of Dennis DiSorbo, Olivia Niemczuk, and Pamela, wife of Jimmy Drier. Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Kay.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA.

Joseph Niemczuk, Jr.’s life will be remembered for his dedication to family, his skillful craft, and his love of the outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
