Joseph J. Fedick, 76, married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Gail A. (Sahm) of Ocean View, DE formerly of North Coventry Township. He passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.  

Born on June 16, 1947 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Joseph J. Fedick, Sr. and Anna M. (Curran) Fedick.

Joe served in the United States Army in Germany from 1966-1968.

He graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1965.  He worked at Control Data Corporation for 25 years.   He then went to business school and earned a degree in Accounting.  After graduating from business school, he worked at Superior Tube in Collegeville, PA for 10 years.  Joe retired and moved to Delaware in 2005.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bethany Beach, DE.

Joe enjoyed fishing and crabbing after retiring to southern Delaware.  He enjoyed gardening and planting flowers, especially his favorite pansies.  Joe could fix anything.  He loved traveling, cruising and going to the casinos!  He had a great sense of humor.  Joe was a loving husband, Dad, and Pop Pop.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 4 children:
Michael Fedick and his wife Angel;
Matthew Fedick and his wife Chryssa;
Stephen Fedick;
Sara Fedick

6 Granddaughters, Molly, Julianna, Madeline, Ella, Charleigh, and Aurora.

Brother, Robert Fedick, Sr. and sister, Patricia Wynn.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Fedick,  brother, Dennis Fedick and sister, Theresa Riese.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Saturday from 8:30 am to 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Joseph Fedick to MD Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 7730 (checks payable to LMD Research Dr. Glitza) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
