Joseph Danko

January 24, 1926 — February 18, 2016

Joseph Danko, 90, husband of Teresa H. (Kascak) Danko, of Audubon, PA, died on Thursday, February 18, 2016. Born in Plains, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Barbara (Ferenchik) Danko. Joseph served in the United States Army during World War II, serving in the 127th AAA Gun Battalion. He was a graduate of Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church in Mont Clare, PA. He was an active member of the Greek Catholic Union Lodge #20, and a member of the Accountants Association. Surviving in addition to his wife are: daughter, Cynthia Danko, daughter, Lisa Fellmeth and husband Mike, daughter, Mary Binkley, son, Joseph A. Danko and wife Regina, daughter, Patricia Danko, 7 grandchildren, Audrey, Kevin, Amanda, Katrina, Alex, Emily and Joseph. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. A Funeral Service will be held in St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Amelia and Landis Streets, Mont Clare, PA, on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA. A viewing will be held in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday morning from 9:00 am to 10:15 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, 203 Jacob Street, Mont Clare, PA 19453.
