John Lesh

March 31, 1935 — April 10, 2017

John F. "Jack" Sparky Lesh, 82, husband of Mary (Cloud) Lesh, of Limerick, PA, died on Monday, April 10, 2017 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born on March 31, 1935 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Michael F. and Anna (Woods) Lesh.

He was a 1952 graduate of Phoenixville High School.

John served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959.

He worked as a Truck Driver at Valley Maid/Bachman in Phoenixville for over 30 years, and then drove bus part time at Phoenixville YMCA.

He had been a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Phoenixville, and St. Teresa of Calcutta in Limerick, PA. He was a life member of West End Fire Company and Liberty Fire Company.

Surviving in addition to his wife are,
son, John Lesh, Jr. of Birdsboro, PA,
daughter, Deborah Dougherty Smith of Limerick, PA,
daughter, Pattianne wife of John Panetta, Jr. of Phoenixville, PA,

3 grandchildren, Michael Lesh, Erika Fizz, David Robert Palmen, Jr.,

2 great-grandchildren, Michael Lesh, Jr., Brinley Ann Fizz,

2 nieces, Kara (Coligan) Proffitt wife of Greg of Maryland,
Amy (Coligan Saylor wife of Shannon of Virginia,

his beloved Shih Tzu, Chloe.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen Lesh, granddaughter, Katie Marie Palmen and sister, Maureen Coligan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11:00 am.

Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.
