John Gething

John A. Gething, 72, husband of Barbara A. (Furda) Gething of Phoenixville, PA died on Saturday, December 28, 2019.

Born on May 3, 1947 in Youngstown, OH he was the son of the late Arthur and Marjorie (Moulder) Gething.

He worked as a Computer Specialist for Unisys and Siemens.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years and two children:

Daughter, Anne-Marie Gething;

Son, John Christopher Gething.

2 Grandchildren, Mikayla and Michael Gething.

Sister, Lori McGee;

Brother, Jerry husband of Diane Gething;

and another sister.

5 nephews, 1 niece, and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by son, Adam Gething who died on December 7, 2002 and his in-laws John and Jean (McAleer) Furda.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a brief Prayer Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 10:30 am followed by a Graveside Service in St. Ann Cemetery.
