John W. Burleson

John Wesley Burleson, 82, of Morrisville, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 in Morrisville, PA. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (Kabbatt) Burleson, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.
Born in Cherokee, OK on November 3, 1942, he was the son of the late William Clyde and Bertha Jane (Goode) Burleson.

He served in the Air Force and was then employed by Transcontinental Gas Pipeline.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and playing cards.John's family will always remember as a good "dad joke" teller.

He is survived by children: Sharon wife of Brian Fischer, Diann Schilk, John J. husband of Meredith Conway Burleson;
Grandsons: Kyle Fischer and Jack Burleson.
Sister; Cordilia Ann Zahorsky
He is preceeded in death by his brothers Joe Burleson, Warren Burleson and sisters Betty Kirkpatrick and Frances Kraft.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 10:00 am with Rev. Thomas Kletzel officiating.
Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
A viewing will be held in the Devlin Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
