John Bielawski, aged 81 of Phoenixville, PA, beloved husband of Jean L. (Korn) Bielawski, peacefully passed away on November 7, 2025.
Born on April 26, 1944, in Norristown, PA, John was the son of the late Chester and Helen (Kunaszuk) Bielawski. He graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh Highschool, class of 1962. Throughout his life, John exemplified dedication and craftsmanship as an auto mechanic, working at B.F. Goodrich, JC Penney and Sears. Known as a "Mr. Fix-it," he had a remarkable talent for repairs and enjoyed being a handyman.
He was a wonderful father, “pop”, friend, and neighbor and never hesitated to help anyone. He cherished the simplicity and joy of camping, making lasting memories in the great outdoors with his wife and grandchildren.
John always took pride in his home and loved to entertain friends and family for various occasions including annual Fourth of July parties, holidays and his grandchildren’s weekend pool parties. His fondest memories were when his family and friends were all together for the holidays. He made the best homemade pizza and always enjoyed baking babkas for the holidays.
John is survived by his loving wife, Jean, and their children: John and his wife Kathy Bielawski, Joseph and his wife Judy Bielawski, and daughter Janel and her husband John 'Butch' Ploshay. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Mindy and her husband Alex, Patrick and his wife Katie, Kristin, Shannon, Jessica and partner Dave, Jordan and her finance Jack, Nicole and her husband Jon, and Sydney. John was a proud great-grandfather to Carson, Elliott, and Stanley. He is also survived by his sisters Gerry Drozd, Diane Bianco, and Helen Fox.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Chester Bielawski, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate John's life at his Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, located at 517 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service. Burial will be private.
John's warmth and skills will always be remembered by his family and friends, as we honor a life well-lived.
