John Anthony Angeloni, Jr., a devoted husband, father, and "Pop," passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 75 on May 14, 2025, in Phoenixville, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA to John and Audrey (McDuffie) Angeloni.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rosemary (Iacavino) Angeloni, and his five cherished daughters and their husbands: Rachel and Edgar Lambert, Elizabeth and Nicholas Arras, Christa and Matthew Grzeskowiak, Joanna and Ryan Matty, and Kathryn and Casey Fallon. John was predeceased by his dear son, Robert James Angeloni, whose memory he held close.
John's greatest joy was his 13 grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Pop". Avery and Elena Lambert, Zoe, Sawyer, and Lucy Arras, Maggie, Caden, and Hope Grzeskowiak, Graham, Everett, and Noah Matty, and Harper and Teagan Fallon. He was a constant source of pride and support in their lives, celebrating every milestone with enthusiasm. John was the oldest of 7 siblings, Linda, Deborah, Terry(deceased), Dennis, Lisa and David. John leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and community service.
A proud graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, John continued his education at the Florida Institute of Technology. After a successful career at Innovative Cabinetry in Oaks, John embraced retirement with a spirit of generosity and service. He dedicated his time to volunteering with Meals on Wheels, Ann's Heart, and St. Peter's Saturday morning breakfast, touching lives of many in his community.
John was the proud father of his five girls, and when they were younger, he was a constant presence at all their activities. Whether it was a dance recital or a district championship game, he could always be found among the crowd of supportive parents. One of his favorite family traditions was their annual summer vacation to Sea Isle City, NJ, creating cherished memories together. Alongside his devotion to his family, John was a lifelong fan of Philadelphia sports, always rooting for the Eagles and Phillies.
John's deep faith was central to his life. He was a devout member of St. Basil the Great Parish, where he attended daily Mass, served as an altar server, participated in a men's faith group and brought comfort to the homebound. His commitment to his church and his unwavering faith were an inspiration to all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 1:30 pm.
Visitation will be held in church on Monday from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm.
Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in John's memory to St. Basil the Great Parish, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460 or Ann's Heart, 35 Hall Street, Suite 301, Phoenixville, PA 19460 continuing his legacy of care and compassion.
