James Zurek

James C. Zurek, 81, husband of Eleanor J. (Cruickshank) Zurek of Mont Clare, PA passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at home.

Born on June 25, 1940 in Phoenixville, PA and was raised by his grandparents Charles and Caroline Zurek.

He served in the Army National Guard.

James worked for Synthane-Taylor in Oaks, PA and then Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.

He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and then St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.

He was a train enthusiast and member of the Train Collectors Association in Stroudsburg, PA

In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 children:
John husband of Nancy Zurek;
Ann Marie wife of Edward Kugler.

4 Grandchildren, John Zurek, Jr., Ashley Barnett, James Kugler, and Nicole Kugler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in church on Tuesday from 8:45 am to 9:45 am.
