James J. Valko, 55, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in Seasons Hospice.
Born on December 19, 1964 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Margaret R. (Matonak) Valko.
He attended school at Owen J. Roberts and graduated from Northern Chester County Technical School.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He participated in the Special Olympics and won many medals.
Jim's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He had a special and unique bond with all of his nieces and nephews. Jim's parents were so proud of all that he accomplished. When they passed away his sister, Barbara, lovingly took care of him in her home. Jim was a huge sports fan, but especially loved the Eagles. Those who knew Jim will always remember him for his sense of humor, pure heart and his devotion to Jesus.
He is survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers:
Barbara wife of Mark Madsen;
Diane wife of Dennis Barnett;
Joseph husband of Cindy Valko;
Thomas husband of the late Tina Valko.
20 Nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister, Joan Valko.
A Funeral Mass and burial will be private.
