Jack Madden

Jack William Madden, 62, husband of Donna M. (Simmonds) Madden, of West Chester, PA, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at home.

Born on June 30, 1954, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Jane Madden of Vineland, NJ, and the late William Madden.

Jack was the oldest of 9 children. He grew up in Philadelphia until his family moved to Deptford NJ when he was his high school. For the last 13 years he happily resided in West Chester, Pa with his wife and stepson.


Jack worked for many years at the PBF Energy refinery, previously known as Valero and Mobil in Paulsboro, NJ. He retired 2 years ago working part time for Corrosion Technology in West Chester.

Jack enjoyed county music, gardening, fixing things around the house and time doing anything with his wife especially motor cycle rides, vacations, dinner with friends, camping and long rides.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are,
4 children,
Michael, Christine, Sara, Nicole,

3 grandchildren,

2 step-children,
Jennifer and Bobby,

1 brother and 7 sisters,
Eric, Jane, Debbie, Denise, Carol, Kelly and Leslie.

He was preceded in death by sister, Judy.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
