Henry Tribble

June 13, 1931 — October 2, 2016

Henry "Pete" Tribble, Sr. age 85, of East Fallowfield, formerly of Mont Clare passed away Sunday October 2, 2016 in Phoenixville. He was the beloved husband of Frances E. (Cole) Tribble.
Born in Saluda, SC, he was the son of the late George and Mattie (Bouknight) Tribble.
Henry was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He worked for Lee Tires, Lochman's Rug Factory and Hollingsworth. Most recently, he enjoyed salvage dealing.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Phoenixville and sang in their Men's Chorus and was a former member of the Philadelphia Masonic Lodge.

He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed teaching children how to fish, enjoyed hunting, gardening and was a great cook and a family man.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Lewis Cole of Royersford, daughter: Anna Marie McDougal and her husband Elder Terry of East Fallowfield, daughter: Henrietta Tribble Lear of Phoenixville, son: Henry Tribble, Jr. of East Fallowfield, daughter: Betty Jane Tribble of Lancaster and son: James Oliver of East Fallowfield. 25 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. He was the brother of Nora Lee Butler, Nellie Ruth Etheridge, Roman Tribble and Nathaniel Tribble and his wife Angie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his daughter Francine Trueheart wife of Willie Trueheart a son, Nicholas D. Cole and several brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Friday October 7, 2016 at 11 AM at Bethel Baptist Church 412 Fairview Street, Phoenixville. Burial will be held in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
A viewing will be held at the church on Friday October 7, 2016 from 9 to 10:45 AM.
