Glenn D. Snider, 89, of East Coventry Township passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Southeast PA Veterans Center. He was the husband of the late Marie E. (McArthur) Snider who he married in 1958. She preceded him in death in 1976.
Born on June 3, 1927 in Salem, West Virginia he was a son of the late Arnell and Mabel (Swigher) Snider.
Glenn served in the U.S. Army during World War II .
He worked for Steamfitter Local Union 420 and was a member of Grace Assembly of God Church in Spring City for over 40 years and most recently attended Calvary Baptist Church in East Coventry.
He is survived by children:
Wesley and wife Blanche Snider
Karen Pfromm wife of the late Mark Pfromm
Timothy Snider
Edward and wife Stephanie Lombardi
8 Grandchildren
6 Great Grandchildren
He also has 9 brothers and sisters: Arnell Jr., Louise, Bernice, Ada, Francis, Corena, Mary Elizabeth, Trixie, and Edna
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service from the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 to 12:00.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to APB Benefit (All Points Bulletin), care of Customers Bank, 513 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460. This fund is used to purchase trauma kits for Chester County Law Enforcement.
