George A. Heim

George A. Heim, 88, of Spring City, PA, passed away on June 24, 2026. He was the loving husband of the late Joan M. "Dolly" (Coccia) Heim. Born on May 29, 1938, in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of the late Jacob H. and Eva (Renn) Heim.

George graduated from Shamokin High School, where he was an avid athlete, playing both varsity baseball and football. He dedicated 42 years to his career as a color matcher for American Inks and Coating.

A man of many talents, George took great pleasure in working around the house and helping others with repairs. His generous spirit and skilled hands were appreciated by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children: Robert Heim, George Heim Jr., and Barbara, wife of Scott Piner. Cherished grandfather to Jennifer, married to Kelsey Umstead, and Nicole Heim. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rose Marie Heim, and siblings, Dorothy Maurer and Daniel Heim.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Devlin-Gatcha Funeral Home, Phoenixville, PA, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 am, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
