Frank Peter Roth, 60, husband of Mary Elizabeth (Picarilli) Roth, of Limerick, PA, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at home.

Born on August 23, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Angela (Jung) Roth.

Frank was devoted to God, Family and Country.

He was a daily Communicant at St. Mary's in Schwenksville, a member of the Living Rosary Association and Men of Malvern. Among his devotions were St. Philomena and Blessed Emperor Carl and Empress Zita of Austria.


Frank was a Patriot who served in the United States Army Reserve for 6 years.

He was a member of the brotherhood of Carpenters, local #8 and #1595 for over 30 years. Upon retiring from the Carpenter's Union, Frank enjoyed his part time work at True Value Hardware in Trappe. He was a talented carpenter and artist who used his gifts in service to his faith and others. Frank built the Altar in the Chapel of St. Agnes Catholic Church, and he designed and built the cornerstone pedestal for the Blessed Mother at Holy Cross School at St. Eleanor Catholic Church.

He loved John Wayne, old cartoons, sudoku puzzles and was a master griller.

Catherine Roth of Limerick, PA,

8 grandchildren,
Maura, Tristan and Holly Nolan,
Miriam and Felicity Roth,
Sophia, Adam and Casper Zhyzneuski.


sisters and brother, Maryann Amici, Joseph John, Annette Roth, Madalene (Roth) Basile and Grace Calhoun.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA, on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 12:00 pm.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

A viewing will be held in the church on Tuesday morning from 9:45 am to 11:45 am.
