Francis G. Lauer, 94, husband of the late Dolores M. (Emery) Lauer, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

Born on November 20, 1931 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late John G. and Marie (McKelvey) Lauer.

He attended St. Mary of the Assumption through 8th grade and West Catholic for Boys in Philadelphia, PA, Class of 1949.

He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1955. He was stationed at Komachi Air Base, Japan as a fueling operator from 1952-1954.

After retiring from Phoenix Steel, Tocky and his wife traveled for 3 1/2 years to all 50 states in their camper. They visited England, Mexico, Germany and Bahamas. They resettled in Winter Haven, Florida for 20+ years. Besides enjoying their travels, he liked to garden, enjoyed a good book and most of all his great grandchildren and his grand-dogs, Heidi and Toby. He and his wife returned to Pennsylvania in 2005 and resided in Gap, PA for 5 years and then Royersford.

He is survived by his 3 children:

Donna M. widow of Nicholas Bucelli of Douglassville, PA;

Patricia A. widow of Paul E. Alm of Royersford, PA;

David P. Lauer of Royersford, PA.

2 Grandchildren, Steven C. Bucelli husband of Janelle of Sickerville, NJ and Jason P. Bucelli of Phoenixville, PA.

2 Great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jr. and Bryce Bucelli.

Brother, Dennis Lauer.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Robert, and John Lauer.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to Southeastern Veteran's Center, Welfare Fund, 1 Veteran's Drive, Spring City, PA 19475.
